What makes The Abrahamic Foundation unique?
We at The Abrahamic Foundation look at creating and building thriving communities. Youth is a crucial element of our community and we love putting this provision on for young people aged between 11 to 17 years to build their skills, try new activities and being able to be in a warm, safe environment for part of the holidays.
-
What activities are offered?
In previous sessions we’ve had team games, group challenges, Virtual Reality sessions, Life skills and Community Outreach, exciting day trips, adventures, parties and just pure days of fun, things to learn, and plenty of new friends.

What benefits can you expect from this?
Keeping youth engaged: The holidays are often a time when young people may feel bored and disengaged. By offering youth work opportunities during this time, you can provide them with meaningful and engaging activities that keep them occupied.
Developing new skills: Youth work opportunities during the holidays can provide young people with a chance to develop new skills, such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. These skills can help them in their personal and professional lives.
Building social connections: Youth work activities during the holidays can bring young people together, providing them with opportunities to build social connections and make new friends. This can be particularly beneficial for those who may feel isolated or lonely during the holiday period.
Promoting personal growth: Youth work opportunities can help young people develop a sense of purpose and direction, as well as a sense of responsibility and independence. This can contribute to their personal growth and development.
Fostering community involvement: Youth work activities during the holidays can involve young people in their local communities, encouraging them to take an active role in improving their surroundings and making a positive contribution to society.
Overall, offering youth work opportunities during the holidays can provide young people with a range of benefits that can help them in their personal and professional lives, while also promoting social cohesion and community involvement.

My children loved all the food and it was a brilliant idea to provide the children with freshly cooked hot food alongside all the different things they were involved in, they couldn’t wait to go back the next day!
I thought it was an excellent idea for the young people to have the opportunity to eat together and also gave me the freedom of not to worry about his lunch which meant I could do other things knowing he is having a cooked meal with peers and enjoying all the activities whilst making new friends. Thank you so much.
My son and daughter loves attending the youth club. It’s given them a sense of community and belonging, and they always excited to share what he’s learned each week.
Since joining the youth club, my kids have become more active and engaged. It’s a great way for them to stay productive and have fun when there’s no school
The youth club has been a fantastic experience for my kids. My son is now 16 but my daughter will attend next year. They’ve made new friends, learned valuable skills, and grown more confident
