Targeting young people aged 12 and upwards our programme is a dynamic and empowering initiative designed to inspire our teenaged young people in an activity that captures their creativity and provides a skill. We will equip young individuals with professional hairstyling skills, creative techniques, and entrepreneurial knowledge. The programme focuses on nurturing talent in a supportive environment where young people can explore their passion for hair design and develop their artistic abilities.

What activities are on offer?
Targeting school aged children up to 12 years, we will be delivering an inclusive, dynamic and fun multi sport programme designed to engage our young people in a wide variety of sports based on their interests and preferences. The programme will promote physical activity, personal development, and building social connections and friendships in a fun, flexible, and supportive environment. activities include football, basketball, tennis, athletics, table tennis, rounders and more!

What makes North Smethwick Development Trust unique?
We have successfully delivered innovative HAF programme (including during the Covid-19 Pandemic) in the past very successfully, and regularly fun family based activities that benefit our children and young people.

My child enjoyed playing on the gymnastics mats, playing dodgeball and loved the arts and crafts
It is important for my child to experience and enjoy different activities and I like the children to make friends and the staff are lovely
I like the water fights and water slides – it was FUN!!!!

Dress code: clean, casual clothing; long hair should be tied back. Aprons will be provided. Bring a water bottle and any personal medical items (e.g., inhalers), also bring along any sunscreen or a suitable jacket in case of weather changes. All equipment is provided. Activities are suitable for ages 6+
