Get Ready to Play! Celebrate National Play Day Across Sandwell!
Mark your calendars! National Play Day is on Wednesday, 6th August, and Sandwell is joining the celebration with fantastic, free events for families across the borough!
National Play Day is all about championing the importance of play in children’s lives. Play isn’t just fun – it’s vital for their development, imagination, and well-being. It’s a chance for children to be creative, active, and simply enjoy being kids!
What to expect at Sandwell’s National Play Day events:
Free Activities: A wide range of exciting, hands-on play opportunities for children of all ages.
Outdoor Fun: Embrace the joy of playing outdoors in our wonderful parks and community spaces.
Family-Friendly: Events designed for the whole family to enjoy together, fostering connection and shared memories.
Community Spirit: Connect with other families and celebrate the power of play in your local area.
Whether it’s cooking workshops, taking part in Dhol drumming, arts and crafts, carnival games, or simply exploring, there will be something to spark every child’s imagination and get them moving!
