What makes this activity unique?
Our Summer HAF 2025 programme provides a diverse and engaging set of weekly activities for children and young people aged 5 to 16 who receive benefits-related free school meals. The programme will run throughout the summer holiday and aims to keep children healthy, active, and enriched during the break.
Activities include:
- Arts & Crafts – creativity through painting and drawing
- Healthy Eating Workshops -Each week includes a healthy eating element where children will prepare simple nutritious snacks, take part in taste tests, and learn about food groups, all in a fun and informal way
- Music Workshops – children will attend Guitar and Keyboard Music Workshops, learning basic chords, melodies, and rhythm

What activities are offered?
We are delivering a programme which allows children to showcase their creativity, socialise with peers, learn and share different cultures and learn about the importance of taking pride in their work which builds confidence. These sessions are a great, safe way to discover that it’s okay to make mistakes which will lead to new ideas as it is a learning cycle.
All our activities are incredibly inclusive, accessible and have no commitment whatsoever and above all, they open the doors to children of all gender

“The football gives a development platform for my son by allowing him to play with his friends and other children. He always looked forward to the sessions during the holidays and the sandwiches and refreshments provided at the end. Kudos to the chef”
