4CT Snow Much Fun! A Winter Wonderland of Games, Food, and Friendship at 4CT Hub
At 4 Community Trust’s Snow Much Fun! programme, we will deliver daily physical activities that are fun, inclusive, and aligned with national physical activity guidelines.
Children and young people will take part in a range of engaging activities, including indoor team games such as football, basketball, and dodgeball, as well as energetic dance sessions, winter-themed obstacle courses, and relay races.
For younger children and those with SEND, we will offer adapted movement sessions, soft play zones, and sensory-friendly activities to ensure everyone can participate confidently. Creative games, such as “snowball” challenges (using foam balls) and movement-based treasure hunts, will keep the sessions playful and exciting.
All activities will be delivered by trained staff in a safe, supportive environment. Our goal is to promote physical wellbeing, teamwork, and confidence while moving a fun and essential part of the day.
We will deliver a variety of enrichment activities that promote creativity, confidence, wellbeing, and broader educational attainment. Activities will include winter-themed arts and crafts, drama games, storytelling, and cultural celebration days, all designed to encourage self-expression, empathy, and social interaction.
We will also run STEM-based sessions, such as simple science experiments and construction challenges, to develop problem-solving skills and foster curiosity.
For children with SEND, we will adapt all enrichment activities to suit individual needs, using visual aids, sensory resources, and small-group work where appropriate. Staff will be trained in inclusive practice to ensure all children feel supported and can fully engage.
Mindfulness activities, journaling, and relaxation sessions will further support emotional regulation and resilience. Our enrichment program is designed to inspire new interests, foster positive relationships, and help children feel a sense of achievement in a safe and nurturing environment.

What makes your activity inclusive?
All staff at mainstream clubs are highly trained and have childcare qualifications. They are more than happy to support the needs of children and young people. All staff members at SEND clubs are highly qualified in special needs and medical care. Staff ratios for EYFS is 1:8 as recommended for out of school clubs.

- Any additional needs or disabilities your child may have.
We may require a copy of your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) as part of the assessment process.
What to bring to ensure your child is comfortable and well-prepared for the day:
- A clearly labelled water bottle
- Comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity and weather appropriate outerwear
- Trainers or closed toe shoes are required for all activities.
