About Us
Awesome Dance and Performing Arts is a small not for profit performing arts club for children and young people aged 5-19years. We hold regular session on a Sunday morning at the Coneygre. We have been operating since 2019 and hold 3 to 4 shows each year as well as performing at different community events across the borough.
We promote good physical and emotional well being through our performing arts activities and by using positive encouragement and praise with the children we help to build self-esteem and self confidence.
Our activities should be accessible to all children though there may be loud noises and they may be quite busy. We are able to make accommodations for children who may have difficulties and children with SEND can be accompanied by an adult if extra assistance is required. We are also able to alter routines if required to accommodate different abilities.

What makes Awesome Dance and Performing Arts unique?
Our provision is running right in the heart of the Tipton green community and local to several primary schools. We have some fantastic staff who are inspirational to children and who are experienced in providing sessions for young people from earl childhood through to adulthood. We have developed our sessions with assistance from the young people.

What benefits can you expect from this?
We have an amazing set of instructors and volunteers who all donate their time to us for free. One of our staff members has performed in the West end and another is a member of a street dance crew which the kids really find inspirational.

Children should wear appropriate footwear especially for TikTok and superstar sessions, trainers are best and we request that children do not wear crocs or sandals
