One World, One Summer, One Team, 4CT SEND HAF
4CT SEND Specialist HAF is a safe, structured and engaging holiday programme for children and young people aged 5–16 with complex or high-level SEND needs. Children enjoy small-group, adapted activities including sensory play, inclusive sports, STEM, cooking, creative arts, music and themed cultural sessions, with a healthy meal provided each day. Our staff use visual timetables, social stories, quiet spaces, and sensory resources to reduce anxiety and help children take part in ways that work for them. We work closely with parents and carers before sessions to understand communication needs, routines, triggers and personal care requirements. Support will be discussed at booking, where needed. Carers are welcome to share strategies and, where appropriate, support transitions. Wheelchair access and toilet/changing arrangements will be confirmed in advance so the right support is in place.

What makes your activity inclusive?
All staff at mainstream clubs are highly trained and have childcare qualifications. They are more than happy to support the needs of children and young people. All staff members at SEND clubs are highly qualified in special needs and medical care. Staff ratios for EYFS is 1:8 as recommended for out of school clubs.

Please book onto the sessions using the 16 digit code provided by your school. If you child requires any medication please bring this with you.

- Any additional needs or disabilities your child may have.
We may require a copy of your child’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) as part of the assessment process.
What to bring to ensure your child is comfortable and well-prepared for the day:
- A clearly labelled water bottle
- Comfortable clothing suitable for physical activity and weather appropriate outerwear
- Trainers or closed toe shoes are required for all activities.
