Aspire Active Camp -Tameside Primary School

Through a rich mix of sporting activities, pupils build new skills and deepen knowledge while developing social behaviours. Working with others nurtures teamwork, communication, respect and conduct; it also builds resilience, acceptance, and a healthy view of success, challenge and setbacks. Alongside this, children gain experiences that reinforce active lifestyles each day and nutrition, supported by creative arts, crafts and take-home recipe and activity cards that involve the whole family at home.

Multi-Sports: Access a range of sports and games that teach how to exercise safely, spark a love of movement, and show why healthy, active lives matter.

Maths on the Move: Physically active learning that boosts engagement, maths attainment and confidence through movement and play.

English on the Move: Active sessions that strengthen SPaG understanding and confidence while maintaining physical activity.

Healthy Eating & Lifestyles: Sport-linked creative tasks exploring the body, nutrition and long-term wellbeing.

Our HAF provision blends sport, learning and wellbeing to build resilience, character and wider attainment.

Daily multi-sports, team challenges and pupil leadership nurture confidence, teamwork and positive behaviour while meeting physical activity guidelines (at least 60 minutes MVPA; sedentary time kept low).

Active learning through Maths on the Move and English on the Move sustains engagement with core subjects alongside games and creative projects.

Nutrition is embedded every day via simple activities; families receive weekly food education, budget-friendly recipes and take-home challenges
