About Us
At Life in Community CIC, our vision is to bring new life to our community by enhancing the lives of people in Tipton. Empowering residents to see themselves as valuable community assets as a result of addressing issues around health, education and employment.
Our passion stems from a deep-rooted belief that every individual—regardless of background—deserves a chance to thrive. Tipton is a place rich in history and resilience, but like many underserved communities, it faces challenges such as social isolation, limited opportunities and economic hardship.
We are driven by the urgent need to bring hope, connection, and practical support to the people here. Our work is not just about delivering services—it’s about restoring dignity, empowering voices and creating spaces where community can flourish. We believe that by standing with Tipton, we can help unlock the potential that already exists within it, building a stronger, more inclusive future together.

”The people who run LYL were fantastic. They were very welcoming and supportive and provided fun activities.”
”(child) has become more confident and social. For the last year he has refused to do any clubs. When he knew his friend was attending LYL kidz he decided to give it a try and he loved it. It has had a positive impact on (child) and has given him the confidence to try other clubs. He has now joined a football team.”
”My child will always be safe in the hands of LYL summer scheme, we always felt welcome and they were happy to help with anything. The team was amazing and they should be proud of what they have done for the children.”
”Today was so good (cook and eat). We normally cook at home for our children, but never actually cook with our children. The children actually enjoy cutting up the veggies and mixing the ingredients. I will be doing more cooking at home with the children.”
