Enrichment activities and FUN at Our Lady & St Hubert’s HAF Club at Our Lady and St Hubert’s Catholic Primary School

As an Education provider, we will be offering various physical activities from your typical sports (Football, Basketball Hockey, Tennis etc) along with our gymnastics and dance offering which always proves popular on camps. Additionally, we always include our enrichment programme every day including activities such as Fencing, Archery, Indoor Curling, Quidditch plus arts & crafts. These activities are always well received an alongside our sport offering provide excellent physical activity opportunities that are not only engaging but inclusive. Roughly 75% of our daily timetable will provide opportunities for children to be physically active. The remaining time at our camp includes a wellness focus with nutrition and life skill workshops which really provide children with opportunities to learn and develop their knowledge of food as well as activities such as what is needed to open a bank account and how to manage bills (all taken from our Game of Actual Life (GOAL) programme.

We constantly strive to improve the skill set of our staff members and enhance the experiences we offer to the children. The standard of delivery is vitally important to maximise physical activity levels and engagement. All of our staff have a minimum level 2 sports coaching qualification as well individual sport-specific expertise.

Our relationship with a number of National Governing Bodies such as England Athletics (Funetics), British Gymnastics (Rise Programme), England Netball and the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) ensure we deliver structured sessions where children will progress and develop their skills.

Premier Education is proud to offer a wide range of activities within our HAF Holiday Camps, including Fencing, Archery, Gaelic Football, Kurling, Gymnastics, Basketball, and more! We have recently launched ‘Parent and Child Workshops’ to encourage family bonding through new activities and shared experiences. In addition to providing a fun and safe environment for children, we also organise nutritional workshops for the children. These workshops equip them with knowledge of healthy eating habits, enabling them to make informed decisions about what they eat. It’s exciting to see the children learn and apply these lessons both at our Holiday Camps and in their daily lives.

Our Holiday Camps offer a multitude of benefits for your child. Our primary focus is to improve their physical, emotional, and mental well-being through engaging in physical activities. We understand that staying active during the holidays can be challenging, so we provide a range of fun and entertaining activities to keep your child engaged. Our experienced Activity Professionals conduct activities that are not only enjoyable but develop your child’s fundamental skills.

The staff work in schools during term time means our knowledge and understanding of delivering high level coaching/teaching alongside knowing how to adapt and support a range of children is vital in making our programme the most inclusive, enriching and stimulating environment it can be. The children receive a whole range of activities with a different timetable each day not always linked to sport and physical activity. The staff that we provide have thorough training and induction process before delivering independently meaning delivery of across the board is consistent and of a high level. To parents, our communication before and during the days is very good with our Camp Lead able to deal with any safeguarding/first aid issues that may arise given parents complete peace of mind and trust in what we are doing.

We differentiate all activities that we delivery to ensure inclusivity, we are able to provide quiet spaces for children needing time away from either activities or children/noise levels.
