About us
Steppingstones in the Community is a non-profit group that started during COVID to help families and children in Sandwell. We began by offering support with online learning, food, and advice about benefits. Since then, we’ve run lots of free and fun activities for children, young people, and families – including cycling, football, boxing, youth clubs, mentoring programs, and more. Everything we do is about helping families in Sandwell feel supported and connected.

What are the benefits you can expect from this?
Our HAF programme offer’s a range of enriching and fun educational activities, including sports, arts and crafts, cooking and day trips taking place every week. Our programme supports social interaction providing children an opportunity to interact and socialise with peers be it over a game of snooker or Jenga!

We are enthusiastic and passionate about making a difference to children and young peoples lives. We have years of experience of providing support and activities to children and their families. A lot of our staff are young adults themselves who now work and volunteer with us and with their insight we are able to develop and deliver engaging activities that children and young people enjoy.
