WHRS Summer HAF Programme
Join us this Summer at Warrens Hall Riding School for fully funded activity days and learn the basics of horse and pony care! Our activities include Stable Management, Pony Grooming and Lead Rein Riding, as well as Lunch and other craft activities. Please note that this is a universal SEND Inclusive (Non-Complex Needs) programme, providing inclusive support and adaptations for additional needs; 1:1 support will not be provided.

About Us
Based in the heart of the Black Country, although seen as a traditional riding school, Warrens Hall Riding School aims to break the long-term stigma associated with horse riding and it being an elitist sport, by making lessons and sessions accessible to all members within the local and further community. Since their re-opening after new ownership by the Male Family Group Limited (February 2021) and completed refurbishment work in July 2021 Warrens Hall Riding School have serviced just under 10,000 lessons and sessions.

What Makes this activity unique?
WHRS HAF Programme is offers services and opportunities to all individuals within the local community that aren’t offered anywhere else locally. With our unique environment, sleek facilities, trained staff and horses Warrens Hall Riding School are able to make learning about horses and ponies fun and exciting by being able to accommodate and adapt sessions to suit and cater to each individual rider using their preferred way of learning in order to ensure that all riders enjoy their sessions and take as much away from their learning experience as possible.

What are the benefits of this activity?
Our equine friends are proven to have several positive benefits and impacts to both Physical and Mental Health and Well-being, whether this be from riding, grooming them or just being around them and within our unique, calming environment.
whilst offering equal opportunities and helping children learn how to build new friendships and relationships with both each other and with our horses through learning how to take care of our equine friends through our enriching activity offering.
Warrens Hall Riding School’s aim is to making riding as accessible to as many people as possible. From the running of the HAF programme, we hope to provide new, different and exciting activities and ways of learning to children and young individuals within the local community.
We want attendees to leave the school feeling empowered, valued, confident and knowledgeable and also want to share the amazing affects and benefits that horses can have on us, with the adaptation and offering of their sessions, this is sure to be achieved. They can’t wait to see you all!

How are the activities inclusive?
All our activities and sessions are adaptable to suit individual / group needs, wants and abilities to ensure all attendees gain the most during their time with us at the riding school. We also have all level access and facilities throughout the riding school and sensory crafts and activities. Our staff have a wide range of experience in working with local SEND schools, community groups and individuals.
We also ensure we have more than enough delivery staff available to assist with any delivery adjustments and requirements needed. All of our delivery staff are Enhance DBS checked, Safeguarding Trained, have completed Autism Awareness Training and some have completed Makaton Training (Levels 1 – 2).

BOOKING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Please book onto the sessions using the 16-digit code provided by your school.
- Once we receive your booking you we will contact you and request that you sign up to the Warren’s Hall Riding School online booking system to allow us to capture specific and required rider information and consent forms ahead of our programme.
- We will then contact you with a delivery plan, expected arrival time for the programme and advice on suitable clothing.
