Pilot Activity Camps at Wednesbury Lesuire Centre
Our Pilot Easter Adventure Camp offers primary-aged children a fun, safe, and engaging holiday experience. Each day includes sports coaching in football, rugby, cricket, and volleyball, alongside arts and crafts, swimming, and enrichment activities such as silent discos, creative workshops including graffiti, tie-dye, and clay modelling. Children also take part in nutritional education and cooking sessions, learning healthy eating skills. All activities are fully supervised and inclusive, helping children build confidence, skills, and social connections.

About us
Nothing inspires and engages young people more than learning outside the
classroom. At Pilot, we provide a safe and nurturing environment for young people and
participants to learn and develop a range of life skills whilst having fun in the great outdoors. We
provide bespoke arts & crafts as well as Multi sports for young people to explore. -

What makes your activity inclusive?
We look to ensure our venues are wheelchair accessible via a ramp, and there are lifts to reach any upper floors if required, we also look to ensure there are accessible toilets. Within our team we have staff with knowledge and understanding of SEND training and autism needs. We aim to have an additional member of staff available on top of our normal ratios in case there is a need for 1:1 support. We have a good relationship with the local schools, and we may be able to collaborate with them to provide additional staff with prior arrangement.
Visuals are used across all our activities, to support those that need it, and our activities are flexible and designed to meet the needs of a range of children attending.
Whilst our website has most of the information that you may need, please request a phone call to discuss specific requirements before any provision starts, so we can ensure our facilities and activities are appropriate and we can make any reasonable adjustments needed in time.
Our emergency procedures and risk assessments consider a range of needs but will be updated as needed for specific children. If you have a child with specific medical needs, we will need to ensure that staff are trained to deliver this, or work with you to ensure a nurse or health professional is also able to provide support during the session.

To book a place at Pilot IMS Summer HAF programme, parents/carers must complete the online booking form.

- Eligibility is for children aged 5-16 residing in Sandwell and holding a valid HAF code.
- Please ensure you have your child’s HAF code ready when booking.
- Children should wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy, closed-toe footwear suitable for active play and outdoor activities. Please provide a water bottle, sun cream, and a hat during sunny weather.
- If your child has any additional needs, allergies, or requires medication, please indicate this on the booking form and contact our team directly to discuss support arrangements.
- Parents/carers will receive a confirmation email with further details once the booking is complete.
- Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
