Easter Water Safety Programme

JOIN our Easter HAF programme and keep your child water safe.

We are trying something new this Easter, working with a small number of HAF providers in West Bromwich to deliver FREE fun water safety activities in the pool and in a dry side setting.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved. The sessions will teach children in Key Stage 2 how to stay safe around water and vital survival skills if they get into difficulty.

Why are we doing this?

80% of people in the Black Country live within a mile of open water. With warmer spring weather on the way, it’s critically important that we talk about water safety with children to raise awareness of the risks around open water.

With the right water safety education, accidental drownings are preventable – everyone can enjoy water safely.

Below are the providers incorporating water safety activities within their programme
